Technology Enhanced Communication Laboratory

The TEC-Lab is a research lab within the Faculty of Communication Sciences of USI, the University of Lugano (Switzerland ). The main focus of the laboratory is to interface technical and humanistic research in the field of new technologies for communication. In particular, TEC-Lab stresses the role of the users themselves, not considered as the periphery of a system, but as the centre and goal of every communication effort. TEC-Lab is also member of the network of excellence DELOS -digital libraries - and EPOCH - Open Cultural Heritage. University of Lugano is also running a Master Program (based on the Bologna model) on Technology- Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage.
